    What is the CarSavvi Score?

Your CarSavvi Score is a 0–100 trust rating that tells dealers how complete and reliable your listing is. A higher score means more confidence, more bids, and better offers.

    Why does it matter?

Dealers are bidding sight-unseen. The more information you provide, the more confident they are — and confident dealers bid higher.

    Higher offers

Listings scoring 80+ receive on average 18% higher bids than those below 40.

    More bids

Complete listings attract 3× more dealer bids within the 24-hour auction window.

    Faster sales

High-score listings are 2× more likely to receive a 'Sell It Now' instant offer.

    How is it calculated?

Five factors combine to give you a score out of 100.

    Condition report

    Up to 30 pts

Complete our guided condition assessment covering interior, exterior, mechanical health and ownership history. The more honest and thorough your answers, the higher your score.

    Photos

    Up to 30 pts

Upload clear photos of all key angles — front, rear, sides, interior, dashboard, boot. Dealers need to see what they're bidding on. More angles = more confidence = higher bids.

    Walk-around video

    Up to 20 pts

A short walk-around video showing the car running, the interior, and any marks or damage. Video builds trust and can increase your final offer significantly.

    Documents

    Up to 10 pts

Upload your V5C logbook, MOT certificate, and full service history. Verified paperwork removes doubt and shows dealers the car is legitimate and well-maintained.

    HPI declaration

    Up to 10 pts

Declare that the vehicle is free from outstanding finance, has not been written off, stolen, or clocked. This is verified against DVLA and DVSA records.
